We came together in harmony, we lived together in harmony… and we walk away from each other in harmony.
Even more so, I feel that we have actually come to the highest point of Love for each other…
Perhaps it would have been easier to cut the rope if there was a disagreement, an argument, a betrayal of some sorts… But truth is… there was none of that.
There is also no blame or resentment.
We simply both have an inner knowing that we are not each other’s final destination.
We want the same thing but somehow… we are not designed to have it with each other. And we’ve come to the point where we can’t deny this any longer.
What I can say with certainty is that we have given our all to this relationship.
We both fought for it for years.
I will be forever grateful for what this Love has opened for me…
Who I have become in your embrace… How you’ve held me through it all… How you’ve been such an incredible playful companion that made me laugh so much… How you’ve been a yes to every challenge, to every wild idea, how you’ve been cheering on me and always trusting in me…
I will be forever grateful for the healing that took place, and for the maturity that is here now because of that.
We have been slowly pulling the band-aid… we’ve been crying tears of grief in each other’s arms… We’ve been telling each other about everything that we so deeply love about each other, about everything that ever hurt us, about everything there is to apologise for…
My heart is broken.
What we have built together is extraordinary…
Who we have become individually and together during the last 4 years is extraordinary…
From the beginning our Union was dedicated to the Highest Love, we put each other’s path and highest becoming above everything…
And now… the Highest Love involves letting go of the most precious thing…
In Love you cannot grasp…
In Love you can only surrender.
So I release the grip… I relax into the Highest Love that always holds me…
and I let you go, my love.
