In India, in the beautiful city of Rishikesh there is a temple dedicated to Shiva.
The temple is but a small room with a high ceiling and all there is inside is a huge three meter high statue made of black marble.
It is a statue of a huge and mighty cock.
Shiva is the God that represents pure awareness. And one of the ways that Shiva is depicted is a lingam, which is nothing but a cock.
People come to this temple every day to pray, to meditate, to perform an act of worship for the lingam.
Literally the word lingam means “the wand of light”. Lingam is the pillar of the magnificent light of consciousness which has no beginning and no end.
As I entered the temple for the first time two years ago I felt a strong rush of energy up my spine. I came down to my knees and bowed in front of the lingam.
Then I climbed the stairs and performed a lingam puja – a ritual of worship of the masculine essence.
I was pouring water from the holy river Ganga on top of the lingam. Shiva loves Ganga deeply because she is a Goddess. And it is the goddess energy that makes consciousness take shape, She is the one who brings Him to life.
Many of us are in love with love. But we cannot authentically engage with the world and people around us unless we are in absolute acceptance and love of our own selves.
And guess what is a very important part of us that deserves our love?
Our body, yes. Because this is the part of ourselves that we see and deal with every single day.
And our genitals are where our body begins. Our genitals are what determines our human essence. Our sexual essence.
Our genitals need to be loved and acknowledged for what they are.
To me cock is beautiful not only because I love the visual aspect of it, the sensation that it gives me when I touch it or when it’s inside of me, but also because to me the cock is the direct link to the consciousness, the essence of the masculine.
Most men don’t really have a love for their cock, they are rather just using it.
I absolutely adore and worship the cock of my beloved.
And I want to encourage all women to fall in love with the Cock.
Because we cannot truly love a man if we don’t absolutely love the lingam.
In fact, love for lingam goes beyond the personality of this person or that.
In this love we accept and love the masculine essence of all.
This love goes even beyond a cock of a particular man, but it is love for the Shiva himself. The mesmerizing and awe inspiring light of consciousness.
Women can empower men to see the beauty of their cock.
If we love a man, but not really love his lingam, this love will never feel deep enough. It is incredibly empowering when we are loved completely.
Only when we have dealt with our own shame can we empower others. Often we end up unconsciously shaming others because of our own shame. And we need to break out of this loop. We have centuries of sexual shame behind us, and therefore – disconnecting from the very centre of our power – our sexuality. Do whatever you can to work out your sexual shame, I cannot say enough about how incredibly limiting this feeling is.
The woman should honor the Lingam of her lover as the original Shiva Lingam, the male principle.
Masculine essence begins with the physical sex organ, which is the lingam, and it expands into what the lingam represents – stillness, pure presence that gives space to all. That container of vast, immeasurable consciousness that holds the space for all of the manifestation.
Feel into the greatness of this vision…
It is called transfiguration. Transfiguration is a special state of consciousness and a tantric practice of seeing the true essence of things.
And in Truth, all is divine.
If we remember that, if we work on raising our consciousness, we become big… And this is when we become capable of really loving.
When our love is really that deep it affects our entire being. It becomes so obvious, as if those three words are literally written on our face: I love you.
And how do we feel around a person who truly loves our essence even without knowing us?
We feel accepted. We feel seen. We feel honored.
And of course we are naturally attracted to that person. We naturally want to be around those who really love.
