The 21st century struggle: Combining spiritual practice and business

Many heart-centred people struggle to combine their spiritual practice and business.

This is understandable, because the way business is done “traditionally” implies giving away a part of your Soul.

So many start but cannot endure… And many carry on but find themselves justifying “ok, the means are flawed but the end result is worth it”…

But who said that we cannot live, run our businesses and succeed on our own terms?

Traditionally spirituality implied removing yourself from all worldly concerns to not be tempted.

Tantra, being a radical path… on the contrary says: let’s get into ALL of it. Sex, relationships, business, power, money… ALL of it.

And find God even in the densest aspects of reality.

Sometimes it feels like walking on the edge of the razor blade. It’s intense.

Yes, the path of business is slippery.

Mainly because you may encounter weakened places in yourself which may cause instability and make you step out of integrity.

And you have to keep yourself in check because opportunities for growth are many… That’s where having the right support, the right community of people sharing the same path and a mentor who’ve been where you’d like to go is vital.

But here’s the thing that is truly fascinating:

Once I experienced that building my company and my brand was my spiritual practice – not something that took me away from it… my Life changed and my spiritual experience went to a whole new depth.

I realised that my craft was my offering, something that took me deeper into the intimate embrace of the Eternal Beloved, NOT away from it.

That’s when I became completely obsessed with it.

It has not been all faeries and butterflies, it does require tremendous vigilance.

And… I’ve found that there is a way to lean into Life in a certain way that keeps my heart softly held by the Divine, my inner fire engaged and my mind inspired.

This way makes me feel carried and it makes doors open in front of me…
