You are not defined by your story

Sooner or later you will have to leave aside all that you’ve ever learned. ⠀

Some people are not going to like this, but here’s the thing: ⠀
⠀
Your suffering is proportionate to how deeply you believe in your identity. ⠀
⠀
Please read this again. ⠀
⠀
Your raging fury is only possible because you really believe in the one who gets angry. ⠀
Your insecurity about sharing about your beliefs and who you are is only possible because you believe that that’s who you are. ⠀
Your worries about how your body looks are only possible because you believe that you are this body. ⠀
Now, even useful concepts like masculine and feminine become dangerous when people start deeply identifying with them. ⠀
⠀
You are not defined by the circumstances. ⠀
⠀
Even the freedom that we have to decide what gender we want to identify with can be a dangerous thing when we become righteous about this, and really believe that that’s what freedom means. ⠀
⠀
Dear ones,⠀
This is not freedom. ⠀
⠀
Real Freedom is in being able to embrace complexity of all the various parts within us, yet at the same time… knowing that⠀
YOU ⠀
ARE⠀
NONE ⠀
OF ⠀
THEM. ⠀

You are vast, unconfined, undefinable… You are bigger than the sky, deeper than the ocean… Your true nature is Love, your true nature is Divinity.⠀
⠀
You are unhurt, you have no wounds, nothing impacts you… ⠀
⠀
When you recognize this… true Life begins. ⠀
⠀
When you recognize this from outside your life looks exactly the same as before. ⠀
⠀
But on the inside… it is entirely different. ⠀
⠀
You do whatever you need to do, yet… you remain spacious at all times. You are in the experience and out of it at the same time. Inside of the house of existence and outside of it at the same time. ⠀
⠀
And joy is ever-present in the background of it all. ⠀ ⠀
