There is a lot that can be said about Tantra, about its connection with conscious and sacred sexuality.
But most importantly Tantra is something that is to be experienced.
Today I want to share with you a really simple technique, and it may sound even too simple to you… but trust me… IT IS AWESOME.
I call it the Breath of Grace.
You can do it by yourself when you are self pleasuring – it is great.
And if you have a partner – by all means do it with them!
This can be done either during intercourse, or outside of it. A great time is either before or after lovemaking.
Whether you’re lying on your sides or one of you is on top of the other, or sitting upright, face each other directly and gently touch your foreheads together. Your noses don’t need to be touching. Watch the video to hear me explain the practice itself.
The first one or two breaths might feel like they’re taking up a lot of conscious thought, but by the third or fourth breath it will feel like a very natural thing to do.
This practice isn’t limited to ten minutes (you can keep going for hours if you like). But I find that ten minutes is the perfect minimum for couples to really drop in to the moment and feel connected.
Now, another juicy bit.
When you feel a very strong build up of pleasure or the orgasm is approaching, habitually you are likely to go into release (which is commonly associated with orgasm). But in that, in fact you are losing the energy.
Instead, I invite you to try not ejecting yourself, but staying with the pleasure, and let it expand you.
Applying the Breath of Grace will help you with that.
